The average lifespan of a website can range from 2 to 5 years, but in this case, the original Home Remodeling Fair website was already over 10 years old. It was time for a redesign, or in this case, a massive overhaul. The original website was an old static website that was hard to navigate, and was impossible to view on a mobile device. We had reached a point where it was time to say, "out with the old, in with the new." Our problem that we needed to accomplish was to redesign the website to be more user-friendly, mobile, and provide an easy experience for both fair visitors and exhibitors. The other item to address was how to build the website so multiple committee members could edit the content. The above slideshow shows the case study details, and you can also view the case study document here.
